Every young person has strengths.

Be Strengths Ready is a flexible, strengths-based programme for young people aged 14–19.

Through our three connected programmes – Activate, Magnetise and Elevate  we help young people understand themselves, build positive relationships and develop the confidence, skills and direction they need for their future.

Our programmes support young people of all genders, including those who may be:

Support is delivered 1:1 or in small groups, depending on the needs of each young person.

Our sessions are relational, supportive and non-judgemental, creating a space where young people feel safe to explore who they are, recognise their strengths and take positive steps forward.

The programmes can be completed individually or combined to create a personalised journey of support.

Parents, carers, schools, colleges, professionals and organisations are welcome to contact us to discuss the needs of a young person and identify the programme that will best support them.

Meet the Team

Helen is an executive coach, mentor and mediator with over 27 years’ experience in education, leadership and people development.

She has worked extensively with children and young people, as well as the adults who support them, giving her a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges within education and youth development.

As an accredited Clarity4D Practitioner, Helen helps young people recognise their strengths, reflect on their experiences and reconnect with their confidence, values and direction.

She creates a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment where young people feel heard, understood and able to move forward with confidence.

Drawing on her leadership experience, emotional intelligence and mediation skills, Helen supports young people to navigate challenges, build resilience and make positive decisions. She also works alongside parents, schools and professionals to help create the conditions in which young people can thrive.

Helen is also a school governor and trustee of a youth charity, further strengthening her understanding of the realities facing young people, families and education settings. Outside work, Helen enjoys spending time outdoors, growing flowers and being with family and friends.
Jen has a background in primary education, with experience across pastoral, SEND and leadership roles. She is also an experienced youth mentor, having worked in schools, youth work and the voluntary sector.

As an accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor and Clarity4D Practitioner, Jen has delivered training across education, healthcare, business and voluntary organisations.

She is also a foster carer, enjoying the opportunity to support young people beyond the classroom.

Jen believes every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. She recognises that no two young people are the same and adapts her approach to help each individual discover their strengths, develop confidence and succeed in their own way.

Outside work, Jen enjoys being outdoors and catching up with friends over coffee.
